How we handle programme data

Sub-processors

Who else touches the data

  • Hosting provider

Runs the cloud infrastructure our application and database sit on.

  • Email delivery provider

Sends transactional email: invites, deadline reminders, status notifications.

  • Error monitoring

Collects application error reports so issues can be found and fixed quickly.

Data residency

Where data lives

On our cloud, data is hosted in India by default. An institution that needs data to stay on its own infrastructure, in any location, can self-host IdeaScore on its own server instead.

Retention

How long data is kept

Programme data is kept for the term of the subscription, plus a 90-day grace period, and is then deleted on request. Backups follow the same rolling schedule, other than backups already taken before a deletion request.

Applicant data rights

What applicants can ask for

Applicants can ask the institution running a programme to access, correct or delete their submission data, consistent with the Privacy policy. The institution, as the party running the call, is the first point of contact for these requests.

AI data handling

What IdeaScore AI sees

What it sends for research

The application's text answers and extracted pitch-deck content, so it can research the market, competitors and founder credibility. Sources are fetched from the public web.

What it never sends

Passwords, session tokens, evaluator identities, or any other organisation's data.
